It has officially been over a week since my last workout -- I couldn't tell you the last time I took that many days off in a row! I think it is so important to give your body rest and have a little fun every now and then. It helps you reset mentally, recover physically and remember why you liked working out in the first place. However, taking toooo much time off can be a step in the wrong direction.....especially when you're consuming copious amounts of Parisian bread and wine - ha!
I dug up a good travel workout to share with you that can be done anywhere, and it only takes 15-20 minutes! It is actually the test workout for Emily Schomm's Superhero Challenge (you can read about my challenge experiences if you type "superhero challenge" into the search box in the sidebar). I actually did it the day before we left on this trip and it had me breathing heavy by the end.

1 minute lunges
1 minute situps
1 minute air squats
1 minute pushups
1 minute burpees

Finish with another Max Plank Hold
I subbed heavy kettle bell swings and double unders for the pushups and burpees due to shoulder problems.
