I blinked and February was over. Granted, it is the shortest month of the year but STILL! Last month I started a new monthly favorites series so I'm wrapping up my February blog posts with another round up of recent purchases that I love! It was a little harder this month because I didn't have an influx of Christmas and birthday presents to choose from.....if only I got presents every month out of the year, haha. Regardless, even though there are fewer items, I feel like all of these are winners!
I got this as a sample with a Sephora order and I immediately ordered the full size version. It protects against thermal damage and heat tools and it leaves my hair feeling so strong and healthy! Since it is a dry oil aerosol spray, it is perfect for gals who don't wash their hair every day. It doesn't wet your hair at all, so its perfect to use on those "dry shampoo days" if you have to touch up your style with some heat. I've found that I don't love it when I straighten my hair (it leaves a little too much crunchy texture behind) but it works wonders on my hair when I curl it. Plus, it smells amazing! I can't recommend this product enough. If you buy anything off this list, buy this!
2. Stila Glitter Liquid Eye Shadow in the shade, "Kitten Karma"
I've seen Emily Ann Gemma from The Sweetest Thing wear this eyeshadow in a million of her Instastories. I always loved it on her and have had it on my wishlist for months. I'm definitely not a makeup pro and I don't ever wear a ton of eyeshadow, so I thought it was a little too "extra" for me / that it would be too hard to apply. HOWEVER, I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger! It is SUPER easy to apply and I think it adds just the right amount of sparkle to an otherwise simple look. I've been wearing it on days I don't have the time to do a lot of makeup - it makes me feel put together and like I tried!
3. Cliff Builder's Protein Bar in the flavor Mint Chocolate
I am pretty picky when it comes to protein bars... I HATE the fake flavor and chewy or chalky texture of most of them. A lot of them also have terrible nutrition facts if you look closely.....like, you might as well eat a Snickers bar for that many carbs, sugars and fats. However, I love the ease of throwing a protein bar in my purse to have as a backup snack on busy days. I'm always down for extra protein! I picked up a Cliff Builder's Protein Bar from my local Trader Joe's the other day and I was really impressed with how good it was! I love Mint Chocolate anything, win. The texture was perfect and there was no chalky flavor.....double win!
4. Hands Free Dog Leash
If you have a dog that pulls a lot when you go for a walk (cough, Chloe, cough), this is the leash for you. The leash attaches to a belt that goes around your waist so when they pull, your arm doesn't get jerked out of socket. Really important for someone fresh out of shoulder surgery! I was worried that it would yank me off balance pulling from the waist, but it doesn't. This makes taking our dogs for walks so much easier!
5. iPhone SD Card Adaptor
OMG where has this been all my life?! This adaptor only costs $12 and makes transferring photos from a real camera to your phone as easy as 1...2...3. It is perfect to carry with you on vacation so you can get good quality/camera pictures to your Instagram instantly. Money well spent! Blogger friends, photog friends, you need this!
6. Eyelash Serum
I just started using this product a week ago but I *think* I'm already seeing results! Maybe I'm just hopeful, haha. Either way, I'll keep you posted! Lashes are ALL THE RAGE right now and I've been dying to hop on the lash train, but I just don't have hundreds of dollars lying around for lash extensions or serums (why are they all so expensive?!). I found this serum at Sephora for $35, so I thought it was a good way to dip my feet in water. Since it is so affordable, I figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
7. Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Water
I talked about my love for Vital Proteins and the benefits of collagen in this post. I have wanted to try the Collagen Beauty Water for a while, so I was excited when Vital Proteins sent me the Melon Mint flavor to sample! I try to drink a gallon of water a day... I've learned that adding flavor to it will help me get there. Let me warn you, though, the Beauty Water does NOT taste like the Hawaiian Punch or Crystal Light packets that you add to bottled water, haha, so don't expect a sweet, juicy beverage. It is definitely more of a natural, earthy, greens-like taste. Personally I don't mind it alone in water, but I think it would also be great in tea or a green smoothie for those who don't like the taste of greens alone! It has nine grams of protein so I love adding it to my diet and getting an extra boost of amazing collagen benefits.
8. PJ Salvage Set
I've developed a love for PJs - I just can't get enough of them! C got me this pair for Valentine's Day and I absolutely adore them. They are so comfy! I like to sleep in shorts because my legs get twisted in the covers if I have pants on, so these are perfect for the winter-spring transition. They are a thermal fabric and really soft + good quality. They come in several other colors, too, and are on sale!
9. Braided Booties
I had my eye on these Target booties for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I wanted a cute bootie to transition me into spring but I had some requirements...... a) I wanted a low heel because I'm an Amazon woman and b) I needed them to be closed-toe because my toe nails are still hibernating for the winter. Ha! These were perfect, under $35 and are surprisingly REALLY comfy! I've worn them on repeat since they arrived and haven't had a single blister. That's big time for me!
10. IT Cosmetics Airbrush Set
My brother got me this set for Christmas - I wanted to include them in last month's roundup but I ran out of room! I've always been that girl who wouldn't invest in good makeup brushes because I could just use my fingers....ha! Shame on me. After using these, I have turned over a new leaf. They truly make your makeup look flawless and I'll never use my fingers again!
11. Assam of India Perfume
I ran out of my day-to-day perfume a while back and have been hunting for the perfect replacement. This perfume is very light and fresh but still elegant. It smells earthy without smelling like dirt...almost more of a woodsy, citrusy smell. It smells very natural, kind of like some essential oils, but not like a Whole Foods store. It is hard to explain, but trust me that it is good! A lot of perfumes are too sweet or florally and can give me a headache, but this one is just right.
12. In The Lead Sports Bra
I would live my entire life in sports bras if it was appropriate. I love fun back details, chest details, etc., so when I stumbled upon this sports bra, I knew I had to have it! I've been wearing it under muscle tees that have a high neck, but I think it would look awesome by itself with high-rise leggings once the weather warms up. I also have to throw out there that it makes the girls look real good! It is only $35.....worth it! I am really falling for every Zella product I try. I think Zella is a great option for those who want stylish, good quality workout gear but don't want to spend an entire paycheck at Lululemon or Athleta.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts! I'd also love suggestions on similar products you love even more. I hope February was one for the books and that March is even better.....bring on spring!
As always, thanks for reading. It truly means so much!
