Spring is in the air and Easter is right around the corner! I LOVE Easter and everything that it stands for....plus it's a good excuse to dress up, take pictures, eat candy, and bake my Grandma's homemade carrot cake! My mom and I booked a big mother-daughter vacation in April, though, and we unknowingly did so over Easter weekend...we didn't realize until it was too late. I'm sad to miss our family's Easter Sunday traditions but I guess we'll just have to indulge in Grandma's carrot cake when we get back!

The planning of my Easter Sunday outfit has been a big deal for as long as I can remember! I love all the floral prints and pastels, tulle skirts and pretty crochet details. I'm rounding up some Easter dress inspo for you below - I tried to find dresses that are appropriate for church, brunch, egg hunts and everything in-between. Even though I'll be out of the country on Easter, I'll be rocking an Easter dress all day long.

I love the way the turquoise in this Roman Glass Circles Pendent from Roma Designer Jewelry pops against my yellow dress. I'm usually not a statement necklace type of girl, but the deep neckline of this dress called for something special and this Roma pendant completed the look perfectly. It is sterling silver and genuine Roman glass and is made in Isreal!

The ancient glass found in the pieces of this jewelry collection began as a household item, probably from a vase or water jug. I think it is so cool that each piece has it's own unique history! The glass is roughly 2,000 years old (aka from Jesus time, making it even more fitting as an Easter dress accessory). Normally, if an in-tact vase or jug is found from this time period, it is displayed in a museum or auctioned off to antique collectors but the broken shards and fragments can be turned into smaller pieces of art like this pendant! Since the glass rested undisturbed for centuries, it shows the marks of its former life. It's like wearing a little piece of history around my neck and it makes it feel extra special.

If you've been keeping up with my blog posts lately, you may have noticed me mentioning Roma Designer Jewelry on a regular basis. They have been such a great company to work with and I really love the wide variety of styles and price ranges that they offer; they really have something for every budget and style! I love that their jewelry comes from trusted designers and jewelers from around the world - it makes it feel much more unique and special than something you'd buy at a department store - and since they don't work with a middle man, you can get quality jewels at a better price. What are your Easter plans / traditions / favorite candies?? Tell me in the comments! I'm a huge fan of Russell Stover's Coconut Nests but have had the hardest time finding them this year.....if you could put in a special word with the Easter Bunny, I'd be forever grateful haha. Will the Easter Bunny visit me even though I'll be out of the country?? I guess we'll find out!
