I've seen a few other bloggers do posts on their travel bucket lists or upcoming travel plans - I think they are so fun to read! C and I constantly talk about where to go next; we have like two years worth of trips tentatively mapped out haha. In 2018, we are doing lots of little weekend trips around the U.S. but we hope to add some more international and European trips into the mix next year. Scroll on down to see where we're headed and where we're dreaming of going.
U.S. Cities
Charleston - I love southern charm and I know Charleston is full of it! So many IG opportunities.
Savannah - same ^^ it is like living a Nicholas Sparks novel!
San Francisco - we're hoping to head here later this year! I want to make it to wine country while we're there, as well. And obviously the Full House house + The Golden Gate Bridge!
Vermont - my mom grew up in Vermont so it is kind of special to me! We hope to visit in the fall. Gimme all the apple cider!
Santa Fe - I visited with my Grandparents when I was a kid but want to go back as an adult and experience it again.
Nashville - because who doesn't want Nashville hot chicken with a side of country music?! C has a conference here this summer and I get to tag along!
Portland / Bend / Oregon Coast - I have family in Bend and love it there. I want to take C to visit Bend and the coast (it is sooooo gorgeous and unique - think Goonies beach). I haven't experienced Portland, yet, so I figured we should visit while we're nearby!
New York City at Christmas - we've been to NYC many-a-time but never at Christmas. It is a must! We are most definitely heading here in December to ice skate under the tree and see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.
Phoenix / Scottsdale - it seems like everyone is heading here lately! I love how it looks like a resort town in the middle of the desert + there is lots of hiking nearby! Right up my alley.
Boston - I know there is so much historical charm here. I'd love to visit in the fall. A lot of other destinations are higher up on the wanderlist, but I'll make it to Boston one of these days!
Chicago - it isn't at the tip top of my list, but I hear the food and shopping rival NYC sooooo.... I could be persuaded to go any time.
*Also, we'd love to visit New Orleans, Austin and Seattle over and over again!
European Adventures
Paris - my mom and I are planning a girl's trip here next year! I am so excited to go back and experience some of the things I missed out on last time.
Santorini & Athens - thinking this needs to be a five year anniversary trip! It is probably my #1 bucket list destination.
Tour of Italy - Milan, Tuscany, Florence, Positano, Venice, Lake Como....should I keep going? We visited Rome last year and it left me wanting so much more.
Ireland - have you ever seen P.S. I Love You? It will make you want to visit Ireland! The views are just breathtaking. Plus, there is Guinness.
Scotland - my in-laws are heading here in a few months and I am SOOOO jealous!
Iceland - Iceland is THE place to go right now and I can see why! There is beauty everywhere, it is unlike any other destination.
Spain - Spain is working its way up my European list pretty quickly. My in-laws visited Barcelona last year and their pictures were incredible.
*Obviously I'd go back to London in a heartbeat (I seriously want to live there!!) and probably anywhere else in Europe, too!
Beach Trips
Hawaii - as soon as Southwest starts flying to Hawaii, I am so there. I went to Maui with my family when I was 13 - it was incredible. I can only imagine how much more I would appreciate it now! I'd love to visit Maui again or Kauai!
Cabo - I've done Mexico before, but something about Cabo seems different and it intrigues me. The rockiness, the small beach town feel in San José del Cabo.... sign me up! It seems like it is less "all inclusive resort-y" ? Maybe I'm wrong. If so, that's OK, I'm happy on any beach!
St. Lucia - this island looks so different than the rest of the Caribbean! The rainforest and the mountains make it look so unique, romantic, secluded and Polynesian. I'd be happy anywhere in the Caribbean, but St. Lucia really speaks to me, lol.
There ya have it! We definitely don't have plans to visit all of these destinations in the next few years, only some, but I would love to make it to all of them eventually.
